# What is Vena

Vena is the native money market of Fluent L2. Users supply assets to earn interest and borrow against collateral.

Standard money markets price capital by asset and utilisation. Vena adds a third input: reputation. Strong reputation earns better terms; no reputation means standard terms.

Reputation is tracked network-wide by Fluent via Prints. Vena reads that signal when a borrower opens a position and adjusts their terms accordingly.

Market parameters — asset listings, LTVs, caps, reserve factors — are set and monitored by [SharpByte](https://www.sharpbyte.xyz/), Vena's curator.
